2011-12 WGA key dates
2011-12 WGA consolidation pack (C-pack)
Please find attached below the WGA consolidation pack (C-pack) that central government bodies and public corporations in England and Wales need to complete. The Scottish Executive and the Northern Ireland Executive will issue WGA consolidation packs for bodies within their groups to use.
Please note that guidance on the c pack and separate guidance on CPID collection in light of CLOS will follow shortly.
2011-12 WGA guidance and forms for central government bodies
The 2011-12 WGA guidance provided below applies to all central government bodies and public corporations in England and Wales required to provide WGA information. It provides guidance regarding the WGA process, the WGA timetable, key deliverables and other critical information. It should be read in conjunction with the instructions on the completion of the C-pack. It will published in early May.
2011-12 WGA – training
Training on completing the 2011-12 C-pack and on using COINS for WGA is now available. Training courses are offered at HM Treasury in May and June, depending on demand, and will last for half a day. First, we explain the WGA context, jargon and process. Then attendees work through an example C-pack, including the agreement of balance form and new CPID data collection sheets, and we highlight areas of difficulty, and provide hints and tips. For experienced preparers, we focus on what’s new. If you or your colleagues would like to attend training, please complete the training booking form and e-mail it to the Treasury WGA team at wga.team@hmtreasury.gsi.gov.uk. Confirmation of dates and further details will be sent to you once we have a minimum number of attendees in your session.
Training courses for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are arranged directly with the devolved administrations. The training arrangements for the local authority 2011-12 L pack will be similar to those made last year with, for England events arranged through the CIPFA FAN network or other local arrangements in June and early July.
