Statement on the European Union finances

Following a recommendation by the Public Accounts Committee, successive Governments have, since 1980, produced an annual statement to Parliament giving details of the current year’s EU Budget. HM Treasury has now published the thirty first in this series.
This year’s statement describes the EU Budget for 2011, and details the UK’s gross and net contributions for both calendar and financial years. It also includes information on developments in EU financial management and the fight against fraud affecting EU funds”.
