Following the Chancellor's statement to Parliament on 19 November 2007, ONS posed a number of questions to the Treasury in order to assess the proper treatment of Northern Rock in National Accounts; the Treasury produced a note on 7 December 2007 - some of which is withheld under FOIA sections 42 (legal professional privilege) and 43 (commercial interests); ONS responded on 16 January 2008, notifying the National Accounts Classification Committee (NACC) decision.
