Request:
Request for information held by HM Treasury on the earnings of British GPs and nurses compared with what similar doctors and nurses earn in other countries.
Disclosure:
Factual extracts from a paper comparing medical pay in other countries were released, together with slides showing this information. A document of evidence to the Doctors and Dentists Review Body, which was already in the public domain, was also provided. Some information was withheld under section 35 of the Freedom of Information Act (formulation and development of government policy).
