Full details of the Department's expenses policy including instructions and guidance issued to staff relating to this policy

The disclosure relates to guidance available to staff which provides full details of the department’s policy on expenses including travel and subsistence, long term detached duty, relocation, official entertainment, taxable travel and miscellaneous expenses

Some information relating to names of junior officials contained within the document have been redacted under section 40 ‘personal information’. Additionally, some information has been withheld under section 31(1)(a) ‘law enforcement’ as release may open both HM Treasury and service providers to fraud. It is not considered to be in the public interest to release this information at this time.
