Financial sanctions subscription facility

The Treasury’s Asset Freezing Unit offers a free subscription facility for notification by e-mail when a Financial Sanctions-related release is published on this website and the Treasury’s consolidated list of targets of financial sanctions in effect in the UK is updated. Please note the subscription process is automated so requests not following the instructions and format below may not be processed successfully.

To subscribe your email address

Send an email from the email address to be subscribed to AFUsubscribe@hmtreasury.gsi.gov.uk with the words SUBSCRIBE SANCTIONS in the subject field.

To unsubscribe your email address

Send an email from the email address to be unsubscribed to AFUsubscribe@hmtreasury.gsi.gov.uk with the words UNSUBSCRIBE SANCTIONS in the subject field.

To unsubscribe on behalf of a third party

Send an email to AFUsubscribe@hmtreasury.gsi.gov.uk with the words REMOVE THIRD PARTY in the subject field, including the email address to be unsubscribed in the body of the email. Do not include the word ‘Unsubscribe’in the subject field.

If your email address changes

If your email address has changed since you subscribed, you should unsubscribe the previous address as a third party address and subscribe the new address in two separate emails. Please note that the automated subscription system will continue to send notifications to the old address until it is unsubscribed. If you receive emails diverted from the old address and then send an unsubscribe email from your new email address the system would not recognise it and will reply stating that your new address is not on the database.
